A Glimpse at Free Times, Backgrounds and Methods

Free times are the times of rest, relaxation and comfort, used by every person as he wills. The optimum use of free times plays an important role in mental health of the members of society. Today, the youth of the society, more at risk of enemyʹs cultural invasion, must be at focus of attention so that they may be prevented from deviative entertainments. Therefore, paving the proper ground for generating a happy atmosphere and pleasing entertainments in accordance with the cultural patterns of the society require more attention to the issue of free times of the youth. In view of the young majority of the population in our society, and a long free time for the youth during summer vacation, the present article uses a theoretical approach and documentary investigation, aiming at identifying the proper methods for spending the free times, including sport, artistic activities, attending cultural and training centers and stations of Mobilization Force, movies, computers, libraries, and parks.
