The Theories of the "Origin of Life "and "Evolution of Species"

Asking questions on the origin of life is among the serious discussions in different fields of thought .On the origin of life, various views have been put forward .In the present paper, while reviewing different views on the origin of life, Darwinʹs theory on evolution of the species, followed by others, has been challenged and it is shown that his theory deals with the process of evolution instead of answering the question on the origin of life .Moreover, this theory has failed even to explain the process of the origin of "species"; in this theory, Darwin puts forward a philosophical view as an empirical scientist. This paper also explains the engineering of Creation, and discusses the views of proponents and opponents, among the Islamic thinkers, of the theory of evolution as well as the Quranic view on this point.
