The Dialectal Words in the Persian Medical Texts

A deep investigation in the immense sea of Persian scientific and literary texts is considered as one of the ways leading to the linguistic treasures and materials necessary for studying the Persian language. Studying these texts, the products of successive centuries of thinking and inexhaustible attempts by the knowledgeable men of this land, will lead us to a territory of various and dynamic culture of the Persian language. Among the pearls we can catch from this immense sea are the medical words and terminologies provided by the outstanding physicians and scholars in the various regions and provinces, during the millenniums of the Persian history and culture. The article just discusses the dialectical terminologies and words found in the medical texts to display the vast variety of the Persian sources and texts.
