Legal Analysis of the Object of Sale and Price in International Gas Sales Agreements

One of the main areas which can affect Iranʹs future from perspective of economy and politics, is natural gas as a principal energy resource. Iran as the second country must try to commercialise these energy resources at the international markets. One of the ways for attaining this purpose is to sell and transport it to the countries that need it. This research is going to analyse this legal creature i.e. gas sales agreement with respect to its subject matter (Gas and Price). Therefore, the reader will not only be familiar with the variety of element of this agreement but also identify special mechanism taken by the parties in order to be protected from the unwanted and unforeseen effects of long-term gas sales agreement. Accordingly, the resultant agreement will be a flexible one and can be reviewed and revised during its lifetime.
