چكيده لاتين :
In present study, the effect of inlet, recycle and jet impingement flow rates on dust removal efficiency of a cylindrical chamber is investigated using CFD techniques. The CFD results are compared with experimental data and show a good agreement (errors about 3-6%) with the experimental data. Due to the low volume fraction of the discrete phase, the Lagrangian approach was used for particle tracking inside the chamber.
The approach used in this study is that of Eulerian-Lagrangian.
The conservation equations of continuous phase were solved using a finite volume discretization scheme at steady state condition and the Runge-Kutta method was used for the discrete phase.
