Site layout planning assists in equipping construction sites properly and therefore, prevents from location related problems during construction activities. Specifically, the site layout planning plays a major role in safety, productivity, and success of projects. This planning is difficult, because each project needs a different site layout planning due to its distinctive features. AY In this paper defined site layout planning, explained the effective factors on the site layout planning, the influence of the site layout planning on construction projects and the history of the site layout planning. Moreover, this study explained some of the recommended systems by experts for the site layout planning.
