The Relationship between the Newly Found Jiroft Motifs and the Iranian Mythical Samples

The depicted pictures on the newly found objects in Halil Riverʹs basin and comparing them with the depicted motifs on the other handicrafts in Iran and the other parts of the world as the depicted motifs on textiles, metal vessels, stony and terra-cottas, silverwares and golden wares, engraved works on stone and ..., declare the fact that engraved motifs on the surface of these stony works, is a treasure that makes a bridge between the Easternʹs art and civilization and the neighbor ones. In this article, at first the newly found Halil Riverʹs motifs are compared with sacred art, and then the Iranian artʹs traditions are sought in them. At last, the relationship of these motifs with the existed motifs in Mesopotamia art such as the Nergal stone panelʹs motifs is compared.
