An Analysis of Military Aims of Kourosh and Guarding His Empire Borders in Asia

Achamenian Kourosh created a wonderful and great empire in Pars Land in the half of 6th century B.C. which had a valuable and significant effect on the history of political and social relations of the ancient societies. Defeating great empires such as Sumer, Coldeh, Ilam, Orarto, Ashur and the Medes, he put an end to the remained eastern powers in Western Asia and Africa, Lydi, Babble and Egypt in a short period of time and created the greatest empire of the ancient world with new political strategies and modem criteria of military and cultural management. He endeavored to provide security and preserve natural borders and military aims in defeated countries during 30 years of his government. The author of this paper aims at analyzing military and political strategy of Kourosh for this purpose and factors caused his triumph.
