A Legal Investigation of Conditions Pertaining to Pricing of Goods and Services in Constant and Long-Term International Transactions

In constant and long-term international transactions, including direct or mutual (unidirectional or multilateral), time for carrying out the contents of transaction contract or contracts is usually prolonged. During this time, the price of raw materials, components and labor force varies, and market for goods of transaction undergoes some changes in comparison with the time of signing the transaction contract or committing to sign it. Hence, specifying a fixed price for goods and services of the above-mentioned transactions can lead to a loss of one or both parties in the transaction. Nevertheless, there is the possibility of changing the exchange rate according to which the price of goods and services has been set. To reduce these effects, it is possible to use specific standards for determining the price of goods and services and also exchange rate in order to prevent losses of all parties involved and to further expand the constant transactions at the international level. The present paper aims at offering some standards for determining the price of goods and services and exchange rate, and investigating the legal status of the transactions in which the above-mentioned standards are stipulated as a condition.
