Investigating factors affecting on Modern Social Identity among Female Students in year 1387 (The study of the Individual Female Students of Islamic Azad University of Sirjan)

In recent decades, owing to the expansion of modern time effects on cultural as well as social feels, all human beingʹs aspects of life and existence have been affected. Identity as an abstract yet variable category canʹt be left out from this principle. In such a process, a lot of people especially young girls find themselves encountering a new form of identifying process, in addition, they try to establish an identity being appropriate for modern society, with taking this question into consideration that which factors help young girls concerning the creation of their new identity, the present study has investigated some parameters such as dividing gender rolls, parentʹs economic and social bases, religious beliefs and convictions, tendency to education and employment, acceptance of traditional values, and social awareness towards womenʹs position in society as well. The procedure used consist of proportionate stratified sampling while data collecting has been carried out using questionnaire. In the view of the findings, among the factors under investigation, parameterʹs such as traditional values, being aware with regard to the situation and womanʹs position in society have played more significant roles respectively in the formation of modern identity in young girls.
