Resource Based View (RBV) emphasizes on Internal organizational resources as a root of competitive advantage. External environment scanning and analysis to detect opportunities and threats cannot gurantee competitive superiority of the firm external environment changes are unknown and different so planning based external components has high risk. Therefore, internal organizational resources and capabilities are for developing the strategic certainty. Based strategies need to understanding the core competencies. This paper aims to present a model to recognize the core competencies (CC), the research questions are: what capabilities can transform to CC? At what circumstances can the strategic capabilities become a CC? Whatʹs aer the IKʹs CC? Thus, the research has two hypotheses and to test them used Friedman test, T .students and Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. The population research of the case study is IKʹs senior managers. The research results show than the CC of IK has the potential for designing capacities based on customerʹs needs, adaptability capabilities and information technology development.
