Assaying the Role of the Intellectual Nurturing Center of Kids & Teenagers on Protecting & Strengthening Their Cultural Identity (Emphasizing on Story Telling)

This research aims to assay the role of story telling at the Intellectual Nurturing Center of Kids & Teenagers (Kanoune Parvareshe Fekriye Koudakan va Nojavanan or KPF) on protecting and strengthening their cultural identity amongst the instructors. Questionnaires were handed out and the research was done through the descriptive research method. The researcher has initially defined culture, identity and various viewpoints of cultural values; then, has studied the effect of mending cultural symbols and social & geographical standards on culture formation and eventually studies how Iranʹs Culture and story telling has effected the extent of carrying and maintaining Iranʹs cultural heritage through generations. The results show that the research hypotheses are correct and that the activities done by the Intellectual Nurturing Center of Kids & Teenagers (KPF) positively affect their cultural identity by taking notice of religious beliefs, cultural values, legends, cultural heritage and cultural & geographical symbols.
