More than 50 Milions of people in the world are mentally and physically handicaped. About 1577646 of these are Iranian. These problems beside some social and physical obstacles usually prevent them to go to public places such as libraries, while this group of people for their leisure time and to communicate with people need to have equal facility and standard library equipments. In This paper we analyse the problems and obstacles of the buildings and equipments of public and university libraries from the architecture and librarians points view.
