The Compilation of a Maths Pattern for Productivity Based on the Use of Information Technology and Communication in Order for Scientific Development in Education

The purpose of the present research was to investigate the relationship between the degree of the use of Information Technology and Communication ( ICT) and the productivity in Education in order to present an appropriate pattern for scientific development. The statistical population of the study consisted of all the managers of Tehran high schools run by the government out of which 142 managers and 426 teachers were randomly selected. In other words, following a multi-step random selection from each high school, the manager and three teachers formed the research sample. The research tools consisted of two researcher-made questionnaires related to the use of information technology and communication (17 items) and productivity assessment based on the ACHIEVE Hersey and Goldsmithʹs pattern (33 items). The results of applying the linear multi-variable regression showed that: 1) There is a significant relationship between the degree of the use ICT by managers and the productivity; 2) The maths pattern of productivity based on the degree of the use of ICT by the managers is as follows: Productivity = The degree of the use of ICT x 0.53 + (33.214)
