In order to evaluate the effect of rate and time of weed removal on canola yield and weed community, a field experiment was conducted in the Faculty of Agricultural in Ahvaz. Experimental design was split-plot in RCB with three replications. Main plot was N rate (77, 110, 143 kg/ha), and sub-plot was time of weed removal (5, 8, 11, leaf stage, weed free and weedy check). Grain yield and yield component, protein, oil, height, weed dry matter and density were mesured. Our result showed that the highest grain yield (4740kg/ha) was obtained in highest N rate and weed free plots. Also, the lowest grain yield (510/8kg/ha) was obtained in lowest N rate and weedy plot. Highest oil yield (1067 kg/ha) was obtained in the highest N rate and weed free plots. Also, the lowest grain yield (62/11 kg/ha) was obtained in the lowest N rate and weedy plot. On the whole, canola competitiveness with weeds increased with increasing N rate.
