Districts and wet swamp lands and ponds by artificial or natural water , constant or temporal, with the still or current or semi-salt or salty waters and also water lands and sea coasts which in the time ebb which is than 6 meters deep are called lagoons. Many districts of the bank rivers, lakes and the coast districts ad7acent of the lagoons , some islands and portions of the sea waters , which are 6 meters deeper provided that in the time of the tide and ebb, lower in the locality of the lagoons are situated in them are considered as part of the lagoon.
This article tries to survey the ecological properties of Shour, Shirin an Minab lagoons which are situated in the Hormoz straight are a with the introduction of the pollution factors, the metedlogy of this article is discribtive and analytical, based on field researches and library investigation . The findings show us that most of the lagoon of the Persian Gulf and especially those concerned with lagoon of Shour , Shirin, and Minab that have many ecological varieties , but regret fully they are emposed to the different human pollutions such as city garbages and oil pollutions. These pollutions are considered as unrecompensible threatenings for the sea coasts. Ecosystems which by poor management, ample harms unrecom pensible on the coastal invironment of this area could happen. The lagoons of Shour, Shirin and Minab of Hormoz Strait and on the paralled coast situated on 10 kilometers east of BandarAbbass up to 70 kilometers extended, is not exceptional of this rule. In other words, this area is exposed to the city and oil pollutions.
