Distinction and predicting of climatic trend in Northwest of Iran using modified Ombrothermic graph

With concern to climatic change and global warning* the climatic long term and short term forecasting and predicting will be in first order of importance. In this research, climatic conditions of Northwest of Iran was analyzed from view point of monthly* seasonal and annual precipitation and temperature using Ombrothermic graphs and also Troll and Miller methods. Then with concern seasonal and monthly trends in study period (1961-2005) the climatic conditions for next decade until 2015 was predicted. Results show a negative and meaningful trend for precipitation especially in winter and spring* and the wettest season shifts from winter to autumn. Nevertheless temperature doesnʹt has meaningful trend, but shows slightly positive trend.
