The Hyphenation Process in the Persian Compound Words

The hyphenation process in the Persian compound words along with its principles has been discussed for years. Most of the researchers and experts believe that it has no certain rules and it depends on the habit and choice of the writers. In this research, it has been tried to refuse this wrong hypothesis and demonstrate that the Persian writing system is quite systematic and full of various capacities. This research also shows that there are seven rules for the compound words to be written. Then in order to prove this hypothesis, the exact rules of the Academy of Persian Language and Literature are surveyed. It is demonstrated that the eight rules of the Academy concerning connectly writing can be put under the rule introduced here. The fifteen principles of separately writing of the Academy are equal to the five rules introduced in this article.
