Values consider as one of the central concepts in behaviour, motive and human actions. Values are important because of recognizing society and individual, following changes during the time and explaining of motivational basis of behavior and attitude.
Individuals and groups differ in their values. Therefore, the scientific cognition of value system of the persons and students, particularly, can help us to know more about the society.
Schwartzʹs theory is used as a theoretical framework. This is a survey-method research and questionnaire is used to collect data. The sample size was 209 university students of Islamic Azad University, Marvdasht branch. According to the results of hypotheses testing, values consisted of: self-transcendence, self-enhancement, conservativeness, readiness for change. In addition, there is a reverse relationship between conservativeness and education. There is direct relationship between readiness for change and self-enhancement with education. There is a reverse relationship between fatherʹs education and conservativeness, self-enhancement and readiness for change and direct relationship with self-transcendence. There is a reverse relationship between motherʹs education and conservativeness, self-enhancement and readiness for change and self-transcendence. Young student have a less tendency toward conservativeness and self- enhancement but more tendency toward self-transcendence and readiness for change. The mean of conservativeness and self- enhancement are more than developed countries but the mean of readiness for change is less than developed countries. Finally, the mean of self-transcendence is the same as developed countries.
