Role of Community Oriented Police in Changing Social Behavior Patterns Aiming at Enhancing Security and Peeling Secured at Neighborhoods

This paper concentrates on the following topics: role and importance of community oriented police as being responsible for change; the manner police should keep in touch with the public in creating change and/ or reinforcing a behavioral pattern- neighborhood security; the relationship between changing behavioral patterns practiced by community oriented police and the level of security existing in a neighborhood. Therefore, we are attempting to identify the sociological features pertaining to the relationship between community-oriented police on one hand and neighborhood security 011 the other; i.e. the practical process for moving from community oriented police to feeling secured all over the neighborhood. In this way, first of all definition, characteristics and mechanisms of utilizing behavioral patterns change by community- oriented police; and the relationship between the police and feeling secured all over the neighborhood is presented.
