The issues of culture and cultural surveys are among the inevitable cases which have been permanently the center of attention during the mankind social history. Particularly, in the recent decades, social science intellectuals from different countries have visualized the effect of culture and cultural issues on different peoples social and economic conditions through offering various hypotheses on cultural and social structures.
The present survey aims at figuring out the factors effective on consuming cultural goods. The statistical community was the university students in Azad University in the east of Tehran. The present survey has tried to evaluate and examine the relationship between parentsʹ jobs, neighborhood where they live, family income, social level, leisure time, grade and gender with using cultural goods.
The research methods simultaneously used in the research are survey, imputable and case study. The statistical community is all the students studying at east branch of Azad University. (N=6234) and the volume of the sample is 370 university students who were selected through categorical and rationing method.
To assess the changes of the dependent variable, 7 theories are developed and tested in the present survey. To analyze the data of the survey, K Score, Kendal C, comparison of averages and multivariable regression tests have been utilized. In general, the results of testing the theories of the research indicate that grade and leisure time variables have growing positive relationship with using cultural goods; however, each of them contribute to the issue differently. It has also come out that social class variable has unimportant relationship with rate of consuming cultural goods. On the contrary, variables such as gender, par-
entsʹ job, income level and neighborhood where university students live, have
no relationship with consuming cultural goods.
