A study on the effective social factor on the drug addicted women in rehabilitation centers and reduction of womenʹs pathos in Tehran city (Rebirth center and Khaney e Khorshid)

The aim of this study is to explain about the effective social factor on the drug-addicted women. In other word, we try to answer this question; which of the social factors are effective to drugs.Different and new approach of this paper is study of drug-addicted women in Addicts rehabilitation centers New birth (Rebirth) and khane-ye khorshid (Sun House) especially in rebirth center such researches about women have not done in this capacity. Hypothesis has resulted from four dominant theoretical perspectives. These hypothesizes are based on Agnew^s general strain theoiy, Sutherlandʹs learning theoiy, Shaw and McKayʹs ecological theory, Hirschi^s social control theory. Independent variables included family disorganization, family disintegrated, social-economic status, availability of drugs, addiction of family member, peer groups and parents observation. Dependent variable consisted of the severity of addiction, kind of addicts and the way of consumption of drugs. This is a survey research. The data collected by questionnaire and interview. The sample size was 200 people from ding-addicted women of two Rebirth center and Khaney-e -Khorshid. Having gathered the data SPSS soft wares are used for data processing according to descriptive and inferential statistics like Chi- square, Cramer and Gamma coefficient, and multiple regressions. The result show that disintegrated conjugal family , disintegrated parental family, disorganized conjugal family, socio-economic status, availability of drug, addiction of family member consider as affective factors on womenʹs addiction.
