The attitude of martyrs" children toward the culture of martyrdom

The Islamic Republic regarding to its slogans and its nature has caused remarkable changes in social and culture domains. The most important change refers to the change of values. These changes were reinforced by beginning of the imposed war .However; it seems that during the recent years, these values (The culture of martyr) are changing. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to understand the vision and opinions of the martyrsʹ children.This is a survey -method research. Construct and face validities of the questionnaires is achieved and its reliability is estimated using Choronbach coefficient. The cluster sampling method with the sample size of 1200 persons was employed. Having gathered the data, SPSS software was used for data processing. As results of this project show, more than 80% of samples have high culture of martyrdom .Also significant tests state that the most determining factor of culture of martyrdom among responders refer to fatherʹ s role before self-sacrifice. The final analysis shows that the martyrsʹ children have a great respect for this culture and its values.
