The study of backgrounds, factors, trends and victory of the Islamic Revolution are among the most important issues which are considered the raison dʹetre of the sociology of revolution. There are some traits which are common in almost all the revolutions. First, all of revolutions are very fast Secondly, most revolutions resort to force at a certain stage. Thirdly, revolution is a political substitution and requires the replacement of the ruling group with another one. Finally, revolution is a change. If nothing changes, there is no revolution.
The Islamic Revolution of Iran is the last great revolution of the world within the classic framework. The Islamic Revolution did not bring about changes in Iran alone, but also had several consequences in the Islamic world and diverse consequences in the entire world. Some scholars compare the psychological consequences of the Islamic Revolution with those of the 1904-1905 Russia-Japan war, in which a Third World country humiliated a great European power. The present article is an attempt to study twenty subjects concerning the interaction of the Islamic Revolution of Iran with the international system.
