The Historial Background of Religious Government Theory

This article try to present a short history of Religious Government Theory from the viewpoint of Quran and Rivayat (traditions). For This purpose, the auther tries to utilize from verses and Rivayat (traditions) to examine historical background of Religious Government Theory both in the pre -Islam and after the advent of Islam periodes. And by taking advantage of prophetʹs traditions and viewpoints, especially prophet of Islam and also innocent Imams and ulama (Religious scholars) in the responsibility periods, proves that the idea of establishment of Religious Government was one of the primary apprehensive of divine Leaders for ever and they donʹt refrain from any effort; although the circumstance to carry out Religious Government theory wasʹnt brought about.
