Miane

Azerbaijan land played a distinguished and important role in definition and crystallization process of Iranian identity. It is a matter of fact that certified by a ^ bulk of literary material belong to different periods of Iranʹs History. The recognition of Shiʹa religion (906/1501) by Safavid state could be suggested as the ^ most important event in post-Islam Iran that sealed its fate. This great accidence happened in Tabriz, Azerbaijan traditional center, while most of the other parts ^ of the province throughout its history had witnessed such crucial events. "Miane" is also among important cities of this province especially due to its strategic situation. This paper tried to review a recent study in this field.
