A FEASIBILTY STUDY ON THE IMPLEMENTING OF A TOTAL PRODUCTIVE MAINTENANCE SYSTEM IN THE BANDAR-IMAM PETROCHEMICAL COMPANY

Nowadays, maintenance is a specific matter in organiza¬tions. The TPM system includes principled viewpoints about changing the culture and personnel intelligence, attracting interest and their attachment to system prop¬erties. In this article, a feasibility study on the implementing of a total productive maintenance system in the Ban¬dar Imam Petrochemical (Faravaresh Company), is un¬dertaken, considering the hypothesis as to which social, cultural, economic and physical factors of the person¬nel are adequate in implementing UTPM" in the Ban¬dar Imam Petrochemical Company. This paper stud¬ies the problem and shows the results using an analysis by SPSS software and, finally, computing the amount of uOEE" for the equipment required for one of the units. Results of this research show that four factors predom¬inately have direct communication with uOEE" and, fi¬nally, in implementing aTPM", which offers solutions to improve these four factors for implementation of total productive maintenance.
