Development and Cultural Identity in Islamic Republic Of Iran

The impact of development process on cultural identity is a subject in the development of Islamic Republic of Iran which requires further study. Identity as a factor controlling the development guarantees the cultural stability and can pave the way for development. Mentioning the development process in Islamic republic of Iran and how development programs are influenced by external models, the author argues that adoption of external models heterogeneous with cultural necessities of Iranian society has led to the formation of unresolved identity challenges
