Police Futurology and Protective Prevention

The necessity of life in the era of knowledge is to study the future as a modern science in order to understand the opposite opportunities and threats. Various threats may arise in the future for the country and law enforcement in different levels. The police should predict and arrange preventive programs according to the severity, depth, scope, and destruction power of these threats. The present article tries to help the police organization through mentioning the importance of the confidential futurology and with the aim of preventing the entrance of the outcomes resulting from these threats. The current predictions and studies in the way of preventing the police vulnerability in the future, is bound to the recognition of this organization and at the same time, the harmful elements in regard to importance and effectiveness rate. One of the duties of the confidential intelligent organization is to "prevent and protect" the threats and harms toward the law enforcement. Considering the prevalence of the thoughts and soft powers and the improvement speed of the insecurities resulting from the information and communication technology (ICT) in contrary to other areas, we can not rely on inflexible consistent operation and stay stopped in. Futurology with a preventive function can result in reconnaissance of unwanted events- to which the police organization is confronted with in the future. This knowledge in its own contribution decreases the threats and worries resulted from the risks up to many extents and bring with it a kind of readiness to defense and comfort of mind. In a complete and critical vision, it is predicted that the future threats in the area of ICT and itʹs by- products would be more complex and dangerous; thus, the confidential prevention takes a double importance to itself to confront the probable outcomes in this arena.
