The relation between Sheikh Bahaee and the Traditional Way of distributing the water of Zayandeh- Roud River

Zayandeh Roud is the larjest and sustained river in Isfahan and central Iran, The irrigation system has been practiced from some hundered years B.C., and still is reputable today. In this system, the control and management is shared between government agents, Land- owners, and distant formers. The system ʹs management and sharing of water is fixed , so that no one can have an unfair share of irrigation water, especially during hot seasons and droughts. The system was last renewed in 1533p.M . and commonly called "Toomar- e- Sheikh Bahaee." A ccordg to this name some say that the sharing is the work of sheikh Bahaee. In this article, the author trays to prcve that, there is not any direct relation between the Sheikh Bahaee and the sharing system of Ziyandeh-Roud irrigation water.
