U.S. Foreign and Trade Policy after the Financial Crisis

The main question the author seeks to answer in this paper includes how the U.S. economic shock has affected the countryʹs trade, economic and even political strategies. To answer the question, the author initially extrapolates the roots and reasons for the rise of the crisis and then discusses the rise of new Asian powers and shift in the power center by explaining the ʹemergence of a new commercial geography in the worldʹ. The author stipulates that new Asian powers such as China and India are emerging, but it takes many years for them to catch up with the United States and Europe. Taking advantage of a variety of political-economic arguments, the author considers such factors as the struggle for power, suppression and corruption among the reasons why the Asians and Africans cannot influence world questions.
