The Illuminationist Theory of Emanation and its Influences on Mu lla Sadra

مورّخان فلسفه و نيز اهل كلام و بسيارى از حكما، يكى از اهداف و اركان نظريه فيض را «تبيين وساطت بين خداوند و خلق او و نيز توضيح نحوه برآمدن كثرت از وحدت» ذكر كرده‏اند. در ميان فلاسفه اسلامى، فارابى و ابن‏سينا نخستين كسانى بودند كه در اين‏باره به نظريه‏پردازى پرداختند. پس از ايشان، سهروردى با اين اعتقاد كه نظريه حكماى مشّايى وافى به مقصود نيست، ضمن اخذ ساختار اصلى نظريه صدور ابن‏سينا، با قرار دادن آن بر مبنايى ديگر و وارد كردن آموزه‏هاى جديد، به طرح نوينى از نظريه صدور دست يافت كه قرن‏ها پس از او مورد توجه صدرالمتألّهين قرار گرفت. نويسنده در اين مقاله سعى مى‏كند نشان دهد كه ملّاصدرا در تدوين نظريه خويش درباره نظام فيض، حدّاقل از چهار جهت از مكتب اشراقى تأثير پذيرفته است: 1) توجه به جهات و حيثيات عينى در پيدايش كثير از واحد؛ 2) عدم پذيرش انحصار عقول به ده عقل؛ 3) پذيرش عقول عرضى علاوه بر عقول طولى؛ 4) استفاده از قاعده امكان اشرف براى تبيين نظام فيض

Historians of philosophy, theologians, and many sages have pointed out that one of the objectives of the theory of emanation is to explain the relation between God and the creatures, and the process of the emanation of multitude from unity. From among Muslim philosophers it was Farabi, and then Ibn Sina, who first theorized about this issue. Sohrawardi criticized the peripatetic approach, and came up with a new model of the theory of emanation in which he accepted the core structure of Ibn Sinaʹs theory while adding new elements and basing it on a different footings. This new plan has influenced Mulla Sadra. The author in this article tries to show that Mulla Sadra has been influenced by the Illumationist theory of emanation in at least four areas: a) taking objective aspects into consideration in explaining the emanation of multiplicity from unity; b) rejecting the delimitation of intellects in ten; c) accepting latitudinal intellects; d) employing the principle of the possibility of the nobler in explaining the emanation system.
