This is the Puzzle, Why Many Families Donʹt Participate in Stock Exchange?

از ديدگاه نظريه هاي كلان اقتصادي انباشت سرمايه فيزيكي شرط لازم (اما نه كافي) براي توسعه اقتصاد ملي است. بازار سرمايه مكاني است كه مي تواند زمينه تشكيل سرمايه را ايجاد نموده و با عملكرد مطلوب خود سبب فراهم آوردن منابع مالي مورد نياز واحدهاي توليدي گرديده و امكانات لازم را براي انتقال پس‌اندازهاي مردم به سمت فرصت هاي سرمايه گذاري فراهم آورد. پژوهش هاي مختلف نشان مي دهند، به رغم اهميت بازار سرمايه، خانوارها تمايل زيادي براي نگهداري سهام از خود نشان نمي دهند لذا معماي خود را اين چنين مطرح مي كنيم، چرا بسياري از خانوارها در بازار سهام مشاركت نمي كنند؟ پژوهش حاضر با توجه به اهميت موضوع به بررسي عوامل موثر بر مشاركت افراد در بازار سرمايه ايران در حوزه قبل از ورود به بازار سرمايه و كسب تجربه اولين خريد پرداخته است. نتايج پژوهش حاضر نشان مي دهد، تحصيلات افراد و همسرآنها، متغيرهاي مالي و هزينه هاي مشاركت در بازار سرمايه، بر مشاركت افراد در بازار سرمايه ايران موثر است.

According to macroeconomic theories, capital accumulation is necessary (but not enough) for development of national economy, and stock exchange is the place which can pave the way for capital formation and with its ideal operation, bring about provision of financial resources needed for production units and supply the required facility for transferring peopleʹs saving into investment opportunities. Different studies reveal that in spite of the importance of stock exchange, households are not so inclined to invest in stocks, so, this would be the question: why many families do not participate in stock exchange? The present study with regard to the importance of the issue has dealt with the effective factors on peopleʹs participation in Tehran stock exchange before their entrance and acquire their first experience in buying. The result of the present study shows that peopleʹs education and that of their spouses, financial variables and the expenses of participation in the stock exchange would be effective on peopleʹs participation in Iranʹs stock exchange.
