An Agreement Assessment of the Components Determining Quality of Agricultural Higher Education

تحقيق حاضر با هدف "توافق‌سنجي دانشجويان و اعضاي هيات علمي پيرامون هر يك از مؤلفه‌هاي تبيين كننده كيفيت آموزش عالي كشاورزي" انجام گرفت. جامعه آماري تحقيق حاضر شامل دو گروه اعضاي هيات علمي (157نفر) و دانشجويان (2202نفر) رشته‌هاي كشاورزي پرديس كشاورزي و منابع طبيعي دانشگاه تهران بودند كه از هر كدام به ترتيب 67 نفر و 118 نفر براي انجام تحقيق انتخاب گرديدند. براي گردآوري داده‌ها از پرسشنامه استفاده شد. اعتبار (روايي) پرسشنامه با نظر متخصصان و استادان گروه ترويج و آموزش كشاورزي دانشگاه تهران مورد تاييد قرار گرفت. به منظور تعيين قابليت اعتماد (پايايي) ابزار تحقيق ضريب آلفاي كرونباخ محاسبه شد كه ميزان آن براي هر يك از مقياس‌هاي اصلي پرسشنامه در حد مناسب (بالاي 7/0) بود. نتايج بدست آمده از تحقيق نشان داد كه از ميان 86 متغير مورد بررسي، بين اعضاي هيات علمي و دانشجويان در خصوص 57 متغير توافق وجود داشت كه برخي از آن‌ها شامل "عملي بودن اهداف رشته تحصيلي، استفاده از نظرات سازمان‌هاي اجرايي در تدوين محتواي دروس رشته تحصيلي، سوابق و تجارب پيشين دانشجو در رابطه با كشاورزي، ارتباط رشته تحصيلي استاد با موضوع تدريس، ترويج فرهنگ تفكر انتقادي و تحليلي توسط استاد، توانايي استاد در ايجاد بحث و تبادل نظر و هدايت آن، و شرايط محيطي كلاس‌ها" بودند.

The main purpose of this study was to assess the points of agreement between the faculty members and students concerning the quality of agricultural higher education. The statistical population consisted of 157 faculty members and 2202 agriculture major students involved in the University College of Agriculture and Natural Resources of the University of Tehran, out of whom 67 and 118 were respectively selected as sample units. A questionnaire was developed to gather data. The content validity of the questionnaire was established by a panel of experts and faculty members in the field of agricultural extension and education, University of Tehran. A pilot study was conducted to establish the reliability of the instrument via the agricultural faculty members as well as students. Cronbachʹs alpha coefficients for the main scales of the questionnaire exceeded 0.7 showing that the instrument was reliable enough. Out of 86 investigated variables, the respondents in either one of the groups were in agreement with 57 ones some of which could be named as: "practicability of the subjects and their relevance to the major discipline objectives", "taking into account the recommendations of the governmental organizations in curriculum design and development", "previous agricultural experiences of students", "specialty in proper teaching of the subjects, on the part of the faculty members", "emphasis on the critical and analytical thinking by the faculty members", "experience of faculty members in guiding discussions and applying dialectic method" as well as "a provision of good and pleasant class environment for teaching.
