پيش بيني عملكرد تحصيلي دانشجويان دانشگاه هاي اهواز بر اساس بهره هوشي، سوابق تحصيلي و متغيرهاي جمعيت شناختي

Prediction of the Academic Performance of Stu¬dents at Ahvaz Universities on the Basis of Intel¬ligence, Educational Experience and Demographic Variables

به منظور پيش بيني عملكرد تحصيلي دانشجويان دانشگاه هاي اهواز بر اساس بهره هوشي، سوابق تحصيلي و متغيرهاي جمعيت شناختي از جامعه دانشگاه هاي شهر اهواز، به روش نمونه گيري تصادفي چند مرحله اي، پنج دانشگاه انتخاب سپس از دانشگاه هاي انتخاب شده، در كل 928 نفر انتخاب گرديد و با استفاده از آزمون هوشي ريون و پرسشنامه محقق ساخته متغيرهاي جمعيت شناختي، داده هاي لازم جمع آوري و مورد تجزيه و تحليل قرار گرفتند. نتايج رگرسيون چند متغيره به روش قدم به قدم نشان داد كه متغيرهاي معدل ديپلم و رتبه در كنكور ورودي دانشگاه به ترتيب بهترين پيش بيني كننده هاي معنادار براي معدل دانشگاه بودند ولي متغيرهاي جنسيت، بومي/ غير بومي بودن، وضعيت تاهل، خوابگاهي/ غير خوابگاهي بودن، وضعيت اشتغال، ميزان درآمد در ماه، و بهره هوشي، با معدل دانشجويان رابطه معني داري را نشان ندادند.

The present study was conducted to predict the academic achievements of Ahvaz University stu¬dents based on their IQ, educational experiences and demographic variables. The sample popula¬tion was taken from Ahvaz universities. The sample group of the study consisted of 928 students selected from 5 universities chosen from the above mentioned population by random selection method, multi stage sampling. The instruments used to collect data consisted of a questionnaire in¬terrogating the participants about their demographic variables which was developed and standard¬ized by the researcher and Raven IQ test.The result of stepwise multivariate regression indicated that high school grade point average and the studentsʹ university entrance examination rank vari¬ables emerged as the most significant direct predictors for academic average score, respectively. However, it was concluded that no meaningful relation could be found among gender, being native or non-native, marital status, living in dormitory or not, occupation status, level of salary and IQ with studentsʹ academic grade point average.
