چكيده لاتين :
Most of models and researches on the performance of the steel shear walls have been done in the steel structures in Iran. In the present research, load capacity of the steel shear walls in the reinforced concrete frames under nonlinear static pushover analysis has been studied. Because of energy absorption, large stiffness and fast construction of the steel shear wall, it can be replaced as other elements for carrying the lateral loads in the new buildings or in the seismic rehabilitation of existing buildings. For this purpose, a one storey, one bay concrete frame with steel shear wall has been modeled in the Ansysl 1 software. The solid element has been used for the frame members and shell element for the steel shear wall. The obtained structure has been subjected to nonlinear static pushover analysis, and capacity of the structure against the lateral loads has been calculated. The effects of some parameters such as steel plate thickness and connection type of the steel plate to the concrete beam and column are studied. Also construction details to add the steel plates to the concrete structures are presented.
