Evaluation of Modal Pushover Analysis Based on Trilinear Equalization for the Concrete Frames with Shear Wall

Nonlinear static analysis is one of the methods given by the manual for seismic optimization of existing buildings. Increasing nonlinear modal static analysis with the possibility of incorporating all possibly effective modes has been presented in recent years. The analysis is based on converting a structure capacity curve with higher than one degree of freedom to a structure behavioural model with one degree of freedom. Up to now, a behavioural bilinear model has been used to secure this goal. However, the error percentage for this model is quite high due to the impossibility of incorporating cracking of concrete for concrete frames in the model. A trilinear behavioural model has been presented here to tackle this, in order to make it possible to incorporate the cracking phase. Results obtained through this study are given here in detail under the title of modal nonlinear static analysis using trilinear behavioural model. These results indicate an improved precision of the analysis especially for concrete structures.
