The Effect of Career Counseling Based on Dawis Theory of Work Adjustment on Quality of Work Life of Isfahan Municipality Employees

The purpose of this research was to study the effectiveness of group "Career Counseling" based on Dawis Theory of Work Adjustment on the Quality of Work Life among Isfahan municipality employees. 28 subjects were randomly selected and asighned to experimental and control groups. Both groups, during the two stages (pretest & post-test) were assessed using a Q.W.L inventory. The experimental group through six sessions was taken on into group career counseling based on "Dawis Theory of Work Adjustment" The SPSS-14 software used to analyze the data. The results by covariance and manova analyzes showed that career counseling based on "Dawis Theory of Work Adjustment" has no effect on the Isfahan municipality employeeʹs Quality of Work Life.
