Authorship Attribution in Literary and Forensic texts

Authorship attribution is an important issue in literature and stylistics, Authorship disputes arise when stylistic characteristics and the content of a text look differed from the usual way that an author writes. Authorship attribution becomes very crucial in forensic texts, too. The present paper after reviewing early authorship controversies, introduces seme statistical and non-statistical approaches to the question of authorship and using Persian data evaluates them.
