A Study of the Sources of Islamic Clothes and Covering

Clothing is a part of the cultural manifestation of a country. Despite its importance, the issue of Islamic covering has been sparsely discussed in Islamic sources; however, with the works authored by European researchers, this deficiency is somehow made up for. Besides studying the Islamic works concerning Islamic covering, the present article addresses the western writings and gives examples of Muslims clothing from these sources.
