    Modem pharmaceutical studies, such as biodistribution of the anti-tumor agents such as Hoechst 33342, involve the addition of aliquots of DNA to a fixed quantity of the therapeutic agent. Non- covalent DNA-recognition by synthetic molecules is introduced in this review.
