An Introduction to Defence Think Tanks.

With the change of the political, economic & social structures in 20th century, and ever more complication of situations, the states need to make true decisions increased and, answering these requirements became more complicated. States with the main goal of making a bridge between power and knowledge referred to think -tanks or " think - centers ".Think - centers were established with the mission of mental and consultative support for governmental policy makers and decision makers and with the aim of policy - study. Defense part as a vital and most important part of society, requires to make a proper & key decision, policies and strategies. Therefore, organizing defense think -centers or think - tanks in the form of virtual & network organization (from current organizations, institutions & sources) is one of the most important and basic steps toward achieving the countrieʹs 20 year vision and defense section. The main goal of this article is creating motivation to study this idea from different dimension, examining related experiences and procedures, feasibility study, planning it Js structure and organizing itʹs performance and make it operational in the country.
