The Place of Soft Power in I.R. Iran Strategy Toward New Iraq.

This article deals with the examination of Iranʹs strategy & itʹs formation background in Iraq during the last decade chiefly since 2002. In this research, Iran ʹ$ strategy is divided into three periods. The first period allocated to the time before us invasion of Iraq, the second science 2003 till now and the third to the future. Also regarding Tehranʹs encounter with the United States, this article proceeded with the impact of this confrontation in Iraqʹs arena and itʹs effect on Iranʹs regional policies. This article emphases that Iran tries to impress Iraq with software factors, and according to achieve itʹs interests, prevents from establishing a rival government in Iraq. The reasons offered in this research shows the importance of soft power in foreign and defense tactics.
