The Utopia in Farabi ʹs thoughts

Abu-nasrAI-farabi was the first philosopher who stated the Utopia paradigm in the history of social thoughts in Islam .The founder of political philosophy in Islam, Farabi, is the first person who talked about political and social problems; ways of governing and principles of controlling a society . The description of his theoretical model gives us a rational perspective. That is undoubtedly inspired by Plato sʹ opinion. In his works, Farabi first discussed on human as a socialized person and suggested that it is impossible to achieve happiness without cooperation. He considered a community as a humanʹ s body. Farabi talked about cities, urban societies and Utopia. The ideas of Farabi about a Utopian and ideal society influenced on the reformers and Moslems thinkers, all over the world. Frabi \s Utopia was dreamy and subjective in addition, authority in this society was based on charismatic mood Farabiʹ s approach considered rational and abstract. Farabi ʹs Utopia seems to be a pure typology with a static sense.
