A survey oil social capital and factors affecting it in Garmi city

Social capital considers as one of the important matters in thinkersʹ opinion. Nevertheless, the presentation of quantitative and qualitative models seems to he somehow inadequate. This research tries to study social capital via trust, participation and integration according to different theories and approaches. The present paper analyzes social capital and factors affecting it in Garmi city. These factors are as follows: age, sex, study, media, socio-economic status and religious obligation. According to statistical findings, there is a significant relationship between religious obligation and social capital. The result shows that the other hypotheses (sex, age, study, media and socio-economic status) are not confirmed. Therefore, one hypothesis is accepted.
