Social factors influencing on robbery in Iran (A case study of Tehran Railway Station: 2004-2006)

Robbery is one of the most important and most happening crimes in nearly all of societies. So is one of the fundamental and important issues that must be noted. Therefore, for reduction and solving of this crisis we must know that "what social factors may impact on theft and how can find alternatives. However, consideration of statistical outputs and attention to these findings are based on two groups, first group (thief) and second group (non-thief). I llimately by "FIDO test" we can see its result as "social factors like addiction, poverty, absence of familyʹs control ^unemployment, lack of knowledge about penalties, escape from home, rate of literacy and divorce, lack of social control are considered about independent variables and dependant variables of theft. The research showed that their relationship with robbery is real relationship and not accidental one. so they known as most effective factors on theft. Some comments about reduction of robbery: increasing of social income, avoiding from extension of narcotic drugs and challenge with that, increasing social knowledge about penalties law, increasing of knowledge about awareness of families, presence of institutions that activate as social controllers, and related activities for social security.
