Attitudes of peasants of Tuiserkan area towards emigration -1385

The present research has tried to show the attitudes of peasants of Tuiserkan area towards emigration and the factors affecting those attitudes in 2006. The research methods used in this study were survey and results were obtained from questionnaire. The statistical population of the study were peasants of Tuiserkan area in 2006 which 381 people were selected through multi stage -cluster sampling. The independent variables of the research were as follows: 1- Demographic factors including: age, gender, educational background, and the number of family members. 2- The situation of the village (such as population , and facilities ). 3- The family income of the participants. 4- The peasants status like the land possession per capita, mechaninization of agriculture practice. 5- The degree of their satisfaction with their villages. The statistical methods used to obtain the desired results were: the table of frequency distribution, descriptive statistics including:,various graphs and charts, T- students test, one-way analysis of variance linear simple regression analysis. The results obtained from above-said statistical methods clearly showed a meaningful relationship between age variable, the number of family members, land possession per capita, the family income of the population, the population of the village, the village facilities, and their satisfaction with their villages and their attitudes towards emigration.
