Morphmetric analysis of the slide and their role in instability of the northern front of alvand mountainous mass(hamedan)

In the northern front of alvand the slides have had a specific morphologic role and have examination 14 slides have been registered in the region , which have specific dispersion, that in regard to their geomorphic characteristics all of them are spoon shape/right angled, flat and spiral type. Examination show that the litho logical and hydrological features of surface and underground waters/movements of the skirts/changes of the slope of the cuts in the bottom of the skirts, increase in the pressure due to loading caused by the displacements of skirt materials penetration of water in surface structures, rib rations caused by explosions of granite mines/are the main causes of the slides in the region. Morphological analysis of the displaced masses due to slides and measurement of different morphometeric amounts are the repesentire of three types of surface, transitive and under surface monements in the region. Indicator in the displacement (LW/LC) shows that 78% of the slides are in equilibrium and consistency and this proves the displacement of the main part of the slipped materials from the main site. High amount of (D/L) ratio shows that the number of slides in the region with the side expansion is much. (W/D) and (L/W) indicators show the width and length shape changes in the region. Correlation rate among different indicators is the logical relation among them so that so that rate is acceptable and have a noticeable curve surface the examinations performed over the volume of displaced materials due to slides and the effective depth effected by the slip phenomenal show their role in displacement of a large volume of skirt materials and creation of instability if the region. Moreover, logical similarities between the slides areas and other areas show the potential danger of the creation of slides on such regions and the intensity of instability.
