Tusʹ s Educational Cemters from the Beginning of Islamic Period till Mongolian Domination

Investigating the history of education in Islamic lands, we encounter som regions abundance and fame of their scholars, there is not enough information about their scientific situation. Among them is Tus region which despite its religious importance and rising great scholars and scientists like Shaykh-i Tusi, Abu Hamid Ghazzali, Ibn Hamza Tusi Khadja Nasiruddin Tusi, etc. From there, has not been examined yet. One of Tus ʹ s unknown aspects is its educational centers. This article is to introduce this regionʹ s most important educational centers, and to presemt newly found evidences which confirms the existence of Nizamiyy in Tus.
