The study of the morphological changes of hazel individuals located in Karaj and comparison with mother individuals in Makesh and Fandoghlou

There are_several habitats of Corylus avellana L. in north of Iran. To spread this species in southern slops of Alborz Mountain, hazel seeds from natural habitats were collected and planted in research centre of Alborz in Karaj. Both groups of individuals were compared to each other after seven years. This research was included morphological and enzymatic studies. In this paper, morphological results were showed. In morphological studies, characteristics such as growth rate of shoot, number of stomata, hair percentage on leaf and catkin, leaf dimensions and vitality percentage were considered. Results were analyzed by T-test and 2><2 factorial. Findings showed that Makesh individuals planted in Karaj had bigger leaves and more growth rate. Therefore, these individuals may be introduced for planting.
